I appreciate life – and it appreciates me in return.
True happiness arises from positive self-confidence and the courage to listen to oneself.

Business
I quickly grasp and analyze connections, identify creative solutions, and implement them efficiently. I have acquired this pace over the course of my life and consciously maintained it – it still shapes how I think, advise, and write today.

sport
Sport continues to be a part of my life, albeit in a different form. I've given up mountain biking, but I jog, run, and swim regularly, consciously and intensely enjoying nature here in Australia.

Switzerland
I often observe the behavior of some would-be politicians in Switzerland with a certain amount of amusement. Much of it seems familiar, but little of it is actually learned or developed.

Private
I have been happily married to my Australian wife Maria for over 23 years. I still greatly value spending time with friends, enjoying a good glass of wine, and engaging in stimulating conversations.

Books I'm still working on
The cowardly anonymous citizen
The book, titled "How a Cowardly Anonymous Citizen, with a Few Troublemakers and a Gossipmonger, Was Able to Influence an Election," deals with the unbelievable dynamics in our community of Oberweningen during the local elections. The village was divided by a few cowardly, initially anonymous citizens and pensioners in a manner unworthy of a state governed by the rule of law. The book aims to prevent such stories from recurring and to hold such committed citizens as Walter Temperli, also known as "Lugano-Walti," accountable.
So many facts are coming to light at the moment that the book is becoming longer than expected.
Therefore, some more patience is needed.

Chinese horror
"When the Chinese horror came to the door" is about how my life and that of my family changed drastically in a short time. My company and I found ourselves in almost hopeless situations. But we overcame the challenges and found our way back to a normal life.
The book is also intended to show Swiss companies and investors what to look out for when working with Chinese companies – a friendly smile often means the opposite.
The text is currently with the editor for review.

Lugano Walti
The third book is titled "Lugano Walti" and tells the fascinating story of Walter T. By day, he played the role of a respected banker in Zurich, who never did anything wrong. But in his free time, he led a double life and was secretly one of the biggest admirers of Black women in the red-light district.
The book reveals the hidden side of this seemingly upright citizen and sheds light on the discreet but intense entanglements in a world he kept hidden from his colleagues, family, and society.
