Goodbye Switzerland.

On December 21, 2023, I left Switzerland forever and set off for Australia . It wasn't an ordinary farewell – it was a moment filled with wistfulness and sadness , but at the same time accompanied by a deep, happy feeling of taking the step into a new future.

Switzerland was home, familiarity, and history. Leaving it wasn't easy. It was especially hard to leave friends , people who had been with me for many years. Goodbyes are never easy, especially when you know that a chapter of your life is coming to a definitive end.

And yet, there was also hope. The certainty that friendships don't end at borders . I know that I will stay in touch with many of them – and that some will even come to visit me in Australia. These thoughts made saying goodbye easier and gave me strength.

Australia represents a new beginning , opportunities, freedom, and a new chapter. With mixed feelings, but full of hope and gratitude, I took this step – knowing that every change requires courage and every future begins with a farewell.
