When an old friendship travels to the other side of the world!

On December 5th, we welcomed Koni , an old friend from Switzerland, here in Brisbane . For the next five weeks , he will be part of our Australian daily life – and it already feels like a piece of home has traveled with him.

It's something truly special to breathe new life into a familiar friendship: shared conversations, laughter, memories, and discovering Australia with someone who has known you for so long. In these moments, the distance between Switzerland and Australia completely disappears.

Koni is here now, in the middle of the Australian summer, bringing with her stories, a sense of connection, and that familiar feeling that only true friendships can create. It's a time of arrival, exchange, and shared experiences – far from home, yet so close.
